Shipping & Returns Policy

Shipping:

  • Please allow up to 6 weeks for your order to arrive, as each chair is individually manufactured by hand.
  • Japan and all other international locations will be $475 for freight only. In addition, duties customs and taxes will be dictated by specific country regulations.
  • Each chair will arrive assembled and packed carefully in its own box.

Returns:

  • There are no returns or credit as each chair is made to order.
  • If you have received an item that has been damaged, please notify us immediately. We will work with you to arrange a replacement. Damaged items must be reported within 5 days of receipt to info@jimkrantzprojects.com. Our return and replacement policies are void if damage is not reported within 5 days from receipt of goods. We will contact you with instructions and may require you to provide photos for further assessment or to file a claim. Furniture is highly susceptible to damage in transit. We take care to pack shipments so that they will arrive safely; be certain to retain the original packing materials for any item that you wish to return to us. You may have to provide supplementary packing materials if the outer carton has been worn during the original trip out to you, or if the packing materials have been discarded.

Warranty:

Modernica provides a limited one-year warranty to the original purchaser of all Modernica furniture that the furniture is free from defects in material and workmanship as noted. Color and finish variations are natural in wood and are not covered by this warranty. This warranty applies under conditions of normal use but does not apply to fading (furniture should not be placed in direct sunlight) or defects that result from negligence, soiling, improper cleaning, misuse, abnormal use or accident.

Modernica will, for one year following the date of the original purchase, at Modernica’s option and its sole discretion, repair or replace, or provide a substitute for any piece or part found by Modernica to be defective in material or workmanship. Any costs for packing and shipping are not covered under this warranty. To obtain proper service under this warranty, the original purchase receipt must be kept.
